At the Weihnachtstag we wanted with the bus after Florianopolis in the Federal State Santa Catarina. Thus we bought before two days to tickets. We made this in a bus reservation office in inter-Lagos in Sao Paulo. There we had to state that already nearly all penalty were written off. Of approx.. there were 10 penalties from Sao Paulo after Florianopolis only in 2 penalties place gave and only four to five free spaces. We decided for a bus of which on the day drive thereby we still something from the landscape to see could. Most penalty drove however in the night. The price for those nearly 700km long travel amounts to 79 Reals respectively. 99 Reals depending upon bus. (45 Fr. respectively. 56 Fr.; 29 euro respectively. 36 euro).
Thus we drove then on 25 December in the morning to the Rodoviária (bus station) at the Titete into São Paulo. In this bus station one feels as on an airport with business, kiosk, bars and restaurant. There is 75 platforms where penalty arrives and drives off. In Brazil penalty is the main long-distance traffic means. In each larger city there is a bus station and a penalty drives by the whole country. Like that it is about not unusual that one drives with the bus from São Paulo to Reçife and needs in addition 3 whole days!
At 10:45 o’clock it went punctually loosely. First by São Paulo. That was a children’s game. Normally São Paulo is quite clogged. But on 25 December the roads were as empty-swept. Thus we progressed well. After approximately one hour São Paulo behind us lay and then came for hours a landscape with many hills. First closely with jungle wooded and very few houses, then with also more and more green areas.
After approx.. there were 3 hours a 1/2 hour break in a restaurant. There one could withdraw oneself the feet. I did not have myself informed like for a long time the travel last and imagined that we will be probably at 18 o’clock in Florianopolis. But it did not go so fast and in such a way became it to 21 o’clock to we arrived finite.
Florianopolis lies on an island and in such a way saw one already for a long time before the lights of the city. We were rather tired and were to have arrived gladly finite.
